UNDERWAY REPLENISHMENT

In one aspect or another the whole crew is involved in an UNREP evolution. From the bridge crew who keeps us on a steady course and speed, to the BT's who monitor the incoming fuel. The BM's are the riggers who get the evolution started, while the men on the inhaul line man up from almost every div. on the ship. There are phone talkers, linehandlers, corpsman, the ever present GMG's with their line throwing gun and the all important safety observer. To take on over 100,000 gals. of fuel in the span of an hr. requires skill and teamwork. A very dangerous operation completed safely over and over at any time of day or night reflects BREWTON's motto of Dedicated, Determined, and Prepared.
