Boatswainsmates, Fire Control Techs, Gunnersmates, Sonar Techs and Torpedomen
make up Weapons Department. BM's keep the ship rust free and haze grey and
underway. FC's and GM's maintain the 5"/54 and Asroc Launcher to oppose any
threat over the horizon or close in. ST's are always listening carefully for
any surface or subsurface contacts. During SOPAC Weps Dept completed over
thirty eight sea and anchor details with hardly a scratch.
