Electronic Technicians, Electronics Warfare Specialists, Operations Specialists,
Radiomen and Signalmen work in the Operations Department. This group of professionals
kept us informed of what was happening in the fleet, the ocean around us, and the world.
The RM's and SM's sent and received Brewton's messages. OS's kept the "BUBBA BEE" on a
steady straight course to meet every commitment that was passed on to us. EW's provided
additional assistance towards locating and classifying targets. The ET's maintained
BREWTON's vast electronic systems to ensure complete operational readiness, and rotated
and radiated at all times.
